Rimac Automobili, a Croatian automaker, plans to introduce into the electric vehicle yet another new and intriguing model. Rimac C_Two is beyond any reasonable doubt a hypercar. How else would you explain the horsepower of 1914 coupled with a speed of 258 miles per hour? Its driving range is 340 miles. There is also the possibility of accelerating from 0 miles to 60 miles within two seconds.  Not many cars available in the world can achieve that. Even the Bugatti Veyron comes second as far as speed is concerned. The icing on the cake is the fact that in addition to that, it is also electric.

The automaker plans to limit its first production to 150 cars. Each vehicle will be going at a price of approximately €2 million, which is equivalent to $2.4 million. Given the number of units, it goes without saying that only a few people will have the opportunity to buy it. You are at liberty to pre-order it in Dubai, thanks to the partnership between Rimac and EV Lab. According to the latter, the electric vehicles multiband dealership company is a first of its kind as far as the Middle East is concerned.

The founder of EV Lab is Kevin Chalhoub, and given his educational qualification in clean energy and environmental engineering, he has what it takes to run this particular company. He worked in the solar industry abroad for a short period, after which he returned to his home country, Dubai. Upon his return, he chose to focus on the green energy industry as well. According to him, electric vehicles stand a chance in the Dubai market. After all, they accelerate faster than their petrol-powered counterparts. He also said drive range isn’t an issue for the country’s drivers. After all, in comparison with those in Europe, they drive relatively short distances.

He added that the market would even get better with time. That’s because electric vehicles get to conserve the environment without compromising the performance of a car. He also notes that the prices keep going up whereas the performance is improving. According to him, it is one of the few sustainable solutions that don’t come at the expense of compromising one’s lifestyle.

Ever since the existence of EV Lab, which is not long ago, October 2020, the company has been stocking various models. Their prices range between $25,000 and over $100,000. The Rimac C-Two will soon join the club and will most likely be the crème de la crème of the stock. This year, the units will be three, but by 2022, it could be between 5 and 10.
